Nowadays, we do need ICT (Information and Communication Technology) in our teaching learning process because today using the technology is a must especially in the school or college life. We must admit that the technology has become very close to our lives, even today it internalizes into ourselves and becomes one of our secondary needs. Therefore, we have to adjust ourselves with the advancement of technology for following the rapid rate of civilization. Besides, we also cannot forget and refute the facts that technology has succeed to bring many advantages into our lives. The technology makes our lives become easier and more efficient, especially ICT. ICT can really help both students and teachers in teaching learning process. It can be an useful equipment for improving the effectiveness of teaching learning process.

In my humble opinion, ICT can really help both teachers and students in these some ways. The first way is ICT can help both of students and teachers to find a new source in the internet for supporting the learning activities because in some cases the learning modules and books are unable to provide some particular materials that the students or the teachers need to know about. The second way is ICT can help the students to do the self-taught to master four English skills by using or downloading e-books, tutorial videos, listening recordings, educational games, online dictionaries and so forth. The third is by using ICT the students and the teachers can discuss about their learning materials even though the teachers do not teach their students directly because they cannot attend the class by some reasons. As example, the teachers can use skype, blog, video call, teleconference, e-mail and so forth to teach, or give an assignment to their students. It makes the teaching learning process can run smoothly without any nuisance. The fourth is the teachers do not need to make their students in danger by bringing a real crocodile or other dangerous things into the classroom. The teachers can use the ICT such as hologram technology to show the morphology of a real crocodile to their students. The fifth is the teachers can make the students more interesting to learn about a particular subject by using the multimedia technology such as an explanation with an attractive power point.

That is my brief explanation about ICT and its usefulness to humankind . In spite of ICT  is really fruitful for us, we also have to remember that the teachers are the best educators. ICT is just a tool to help us to learn something , but our teachers are more than we can imagine.
